The history of a high-quality brand:

In 1960, two brothers, Josef and Hans Reifer, founded the Reifer garden centre. Four years later they opened a vegetable store in the centre of Bressanone.
In 1976 the store was renovated and the decision was taken to focus mainly on flowers.
In 1982 the company was split into two separate garden centres. Immediately afterwards, Josef and his son Raimund, who had by now finished his horticultural training, began to enlarge the centre.
In 1989 another greenhouse was built. In 1997 Raimund took over the management of the company and added another 1,000 m² of greenhouse space. After only six and a half months of construction work, the Reifer Adventure Garden Centre was opened on October 5th 2003.
In August of 2004, the store in town closed.
Too soon, the senior partner, Josef Reifer, passed away in September 2004.
In 2006 production was moved from Bressanone to Varna and expanded to a total of 4,500 m².

In 2007 our garden center was nominated for a "Taspo Award" in Berlin.

In 2010 production was expanded to 5,400 m²

The Reifer Adventure Garden Centre is celebrating its 50th anniversary!
